New prestige apartment tower launched in Broadbeach

Full-floor apartments with uninterrupted views bring a new level of prestige living to the Gold Coast.

The Gold Coast is one of the most sought-after real estate markets in the country right now. With a new luxury development on the way, beachside living is about to be pushed to new heights.

LUXE Broadbeach is designed with spacious ultra-premium living in mind, comprising only 28 full-floor apartments.

The location at 2 Charles Ave has a highly desirable north-facing aspect and uninterrupted ocean views.

The opportunity for room to move is sure to impress high-end beachfront buyers with demand for bigger dwellings on the rise, according to Angus Moore, economist at realestate.com.au.

“One of the significant trends we’ve seen in the last two years is the number of people placing a much higher premium on space,” Moore explains.

“Living near a beach has also become much more valuable — especially on the Gold Coast, given that it arguably has some of the nicest beaches in Australia.”

Luxury property in demand

Interstate migration to the Gold Coast is at an all-time high, with a range of demographics, from young professionals, downsizers and prestige property hunters, moving in after the pandemic.

Interest in luxury property in the area has skyrocketed, with searches in higher property brackets becoming increasingly common, Moore says.

“When we look at searches on realestate.com.au data, we are increasingly seeing people go for higher price points, even compared to a year ago,” he says. “6.5% of searches are now over $2 million, which was 3% in 2020, while searches above $3 million have also doubled from 1.4% to 2.8% of searches.”

This has translated to sales. In the rarefied air of the $5 million-plus range, sales on the Gold Coast surged by 147% year-on-year to the end of October ‘21.

There’s no sign of the market slowing. Data shows interest in local real estate is on the up, with views per listing rising 29% compared to six months ago, a trend likely to continue with internal migration continuing and Australia opening its international borders, adds Moore.

2 Charles Ave has incredible beachfront views with cafes, restaurants and boutique shops just around the corner.

Adrian Parsons, managing director of Total Property Group, says premium buyers from across the globe are showing interest.

“There is confidence in the Gold Coast’s luxury property market following the past year’s extraordinary growth and the region has been under the international spotlight recently for being one of the fastest-rising luxury housing markets in the world,” he says.

Pure luxury

With floor plans of 374sqm, the Broadbeach LUXE Development Company project offers a unique proposition — beachside living with house-sized proportions.

Starting on level six, the apartments rise to the top penthouse on level 33 — each with a private wrap-around entertainer’s balcony, gourmet kitchen, and options for three to five bedrooms.

Designed by architects DBI, the residences are bigger than most Australian houses, so buyers have plenty of room to move, Parsons says.

Inside, the residences are Manhattan-inspired, blending sophistication and Australian coastal style living.

Huge windows drench the living spaces in sunlight and the detailed craftsmanship throughout creates a genuine sense of timeless elegance.

Residents also have access to exclusive amenities on level five including a 25-metre heated lap pool, infinity pool with stunning views, lounge, sauna, barbecue area, gymnasium and yoga lawn.

Parking also won’t be a problem with each apartment allocated three spaces.

Broadbeach riding high

Undeniably, part of the appeal of this new project is its location overlooking Broadbeach foreshore.

Parsons points out the golden sands, and ideal swimming conditions.

LUXE Broadbeach is situated among cafes, restaurants and boutique shops, with the beach a couple of streets away, he says.

The new LUXE Broadbeach display suite is now open at 4 Charles Avenue, Broadbeach.

Shoppers can visit the nearby Pacific Fair shopping centre with its premium stores, and the ever popular Surfers Paradise is just 10 minutes down the road. The nearby destinations of Main Beach to the north and Burleigh Heads to the south are only 15 minutes away.

Yet, with owner-occupiers dominating the Broadbeach market, the overall vibe remains relaxed.

The area is also well connected with the Pacific Motorway close by and the Gold Coast International Airport less than 30 minutes’ drive.

Parsons says that for buyers looking for the ultimate Gold Coast luxury lifestyle, LUXE Broadbeach ticks all the boxes.

“The huge response we have received so far for this level of prestige demonstrates that the quality of life on the Gold Coast is highly appealing to buyers looking for ultra-luxurious properties that elevate lifestyle.”
